Financial Support for Family Therapy

Restore, a Hub City Non-profit, began after the therapists at Restoration House Counseling saw a need in our community for financial help to support counseling services for children and their families.

Our mission:

Our mission is to bridge the financial gap for families who need therapy services and make too much to access Medicaid but not enough to cover their yearly insurance deductibles, provide training for local Child Protection Workers, foster families, and parents of children who want to build their skills, and offer intensive workshops and camps for families and children in the process of therapy or waiting for therapeutic services to support their mental health journey.

What We Do

We are RESTORE, a 501(c)3 in Hattiesburg, which aims to serve families and children here in the Hub City, as well as the surrounding areas and beyond! We are passionate about serving families and children by bridging the financial gap of families needing mental health services, training families and practitioners in the field, and providing supportive group experiences for children with mental health challenges.

Educate

Restore plans to host intensive workshops and camps for children and families to support the work going on in the therapy rooms across the Pine Belt and for those waiting for therapy services.

Empower

Covering the costs of health care for yourself and your family can be challenging, including mental healthcare. Many of us fall into the gaps of making too much money to qualify for Medicaid for our children and not enough to cover the high deductibles of our family insurance plans.
Restore is working to help bridge this gap for families stuck in the middle, needing support to cover the costs of therapeutic services.
Keep a watch on our socials to hear about how you can invest in families in our community to get the help they need.

Equip

Restore aims to serve caseworkers, clinicians, and mental health professionals looking for quality training for little or no cost. Serving practitioners means quality care for children and families in our communities. Keep following for training details coming Fall 2024.

Partner With Us

Whether it’s a one-time donation or becoming a monthly partner, you can impact our community by supporting the work of RESTORE through giving.

Leadership

RESTORE is led by our board of directors that rotate every two years. We’re proud to have a group of women who are invested in our cause of making mental health obtainable for all.
